Fencing

All our fencing is on display in our yard, please come and inspect for yourselves the very high value for money specification that our panels are made to.

Our timber fencing materials are treated with the most up to date preservatives. Rust proof nails and staples are used throughout the construction of panels.

The materials for our Interwoven, Overlap, Wayneyedge and Trellis panels are totally immersed in a water repellent preservative for a period of 20 minutes. The framing on Wilfirs fence panels is almost 1 1/2  times as strong as most other manufacturers. No other fencing manufacturer uses both this high performance treatment and framing as strong as ours. We recommend a further treatment not before 2-3 years to maintain their appearance. All the other timber used for fencing and fencing construction is Green Pressure treated.

Interwoven

Interwoven

This is the traditional design of Panel. Provides a panel with the same design both sides but isn’t peep proof. Although is normally considered a basic panel we continue to provide a strong panel featuring a complete frame 19mm x 38mm (3/4” x 1˝” ) material plus two centre supports on both sides of the panel. Strong 6.5mm (1/4”) slats are used. The capping strip on top of the panel is standard.

Waneyedge

Waneyedge

This is of similar construction to the overlap panel, again using 19mmx38mm frame. The slats are 100mm to 150mm (4” to 6”) and 5mm (3/16”) thick Waneyedges The use of Waneyedge boards gives an overlap of up to 50mm (2”).

Euro Lap

Euro Lap

Construction is similar to Overlap with the slats laid out in “Ranch Style”. There are extra battens on the face which makes this panel look the same both sides.

Overlap

Overlap

This is a most popular panel, recently improved to increase its strength and quality, providing a complete peep proof fence. Construction consists of a complete outer frame of 19mm x 38mm on both sides with three inner battens on the reverse side. The panel is covered with 100mm x 6.5mm (4” x 1/4”) thick timbers, far stronger than slats normally used for this type of panel generously overlapped, complete with capping rail.
NOTE: due to overall thickness some “fitting” may be required if you are using them with concrete slotted posts.
